Evaluation of Family Physicians' Opinions in Defensive Medicine Practices: The Case of Isparta/Turkey

Objective: In this descriptive study, which questions the problems and perspectives faced by physicians about medical bad practices (malpractice), are often heard today, information defensive of family physicians, it is aimed to determine their attitude behavior. Methods: November-December 2020, study was conducted on 77 who worked as a physician in Isparta/Turkey accepted participation using survey technique. Answers Likert-type situation measurement expressions (fully agree, very moderately little disagree at all) were used. addition, yes-no options used for that measure level knowledge. Results: As result 18 (23%) said they had not concept medicine before, 48 (62%) did know enough content practices, 5 (6%) sued malpractice, 37 (48%) thought any lawsuit could be filed within next 10 years. malpractice cases find lot space media, proportion say feel uneasy while performing my profession (59.7%-46 physicians) came first option with largest percentage attitude-measuring questions. Conclusions: The results show working health centers affiliated Ministry Health significantly focused positive negative practices.
